BFN…again

by noelle on September 29, 2009

So our 5th cycle TTCing is almost gone, and today at 12 DPO I got my third BFN this cycle. I have also experience a major temp drop which can only mean one thing…AF is on its way. I am so depressed and discouraged. We did everthing right this time. Everything. The timing was perfect, we used preseed, and soft cups. I am so frustrated. I am freaking out. I am thinking the worst. I am so scared that something is wrong. When is this going to happen for us?

Mini

by noelle on September 21, 2009

When we were in Toronto this weekend, Vlad got his birthday present from his brother.  It is the HP Mini 110.  Well, I absolutely had to have one too!  It is the cutest little thing that I ever did see.  Here it is next to a large Tim Horton’s coffee.  It’s a teeny, tiny 10 inches.  Isn’t it cute?

It is so much smaller than my laptop.  I still love my laptop, because the specs are way better, but this is such a wonderful little thing that I can just sling into a purse and take with me wherever I go.  Here it is sitting on top of my laptop.  (sorry for the image quality…I didn’t have my camera with me, so I was stuck using the camera on my BlackBerry)

I also bought a cute sleeve for it, and a Case Login Laptop bag, for when I go away.  This one has room for all the accessories.

Internet on the Road

by noelle on September 18, 2009

I am writing this post from the passenger seat of my car, on the highway.  Just another reason why I am in love with my BlackBerry; you can use it as a modem.  An it is pretty darn fast too.  So, I am in my car, driving to Toronto, on my awesome new laptop, on the internet!  What more could a girl want? Life is good!

We are on our way to Toronto because Vlad is participating in a BJJ tournament this weekend.  I am really hoping that he does well.  He is so good, and deserves to place in this tournament.  Anyway, back to browsing the web on the highway.  Hee Hee!

Chevelle

by noelle on September 17, 2009

music-chevelle-extendedLast night, my friend Chris and I went to a Chevelle concert!  They were playing in the student centre of the University where I work.  On my way into work I heard this advertised on the radio and I was like “Oh my God!”.  Chevelle is one of the bands on my list of concerts that I wanted to see, so I had to go.  It was a good show.  Chevelle put on a great show! My only complaint is that the acoustics in the centre were horrible.  Now, I REALLY want to see them again, but at a better venue.  I will have pictures up as soon as I find my camera battery charger.

I can’t wait for this weekend.  This last two weeks of work have been very busy and extremely exhausting.  I am so tired.

Trick ‘r Treat

by noelle on September 13, 2009

TRT-Bluray_hrI am so excited!  I pre-ordered this!!!  I have been waiting for this movie since 2007.  All the reviews  say that this will be THE Halloween movie, that it’s one of the best, but for some strange reason, it was never released in theatres.  It was delayed for two years, and now finally will be released on DVD and BluRay on October 6th.  Here is the summary as written by Warner Bros.:

It is said that Halloween is the night when the dead rise to walk among us and other unspeakable things roam free. The rituals of All Hallows Eve were devised to protect us from their evil mischief, and one small town is about to be taught a terrifying lesson that some traditions are best not forgotten. Nothing is what it seems when a suburban couple learns the dangers of blowing out a Jack-o-Lantern before midnight; four women cross paths with a costumed stalker at a local festival; a group of pranksters goes too far and discovers the horrifying truth buried in a local legend; and a cantankerous old hermit is visited by a strange trick-or-treater with a few bones to pick. Costumes and candy, ghouls and goblins, monsters and mayhem… the tricks and treats of Halloween turn deadly as strange creatures of every variety-human and otherwise-try to survive the scariest night of the year.

I am sooo excited to see this movie!  I am always looking for movies with anything to do with Halloween in them, and this one is ALL about Halloween!  Here’s a peek.  Enjoy!
